How we got started
Coastal Food Group was founded by a team of food-industry veterans who saw a gap in the Tampa Bay and Gulf Coast wholesale produce market. Hotels, restaurants, and schools were settling for produce that traveled hundreds of miles before reaching their kitchens — losing freshness, flavor, and nutritional value along the way.
We set out to change that. By building direct relationships with Florida farms and regional growers, we created a supply chain that gets produce from field to kitchen in hours, not days.
Today we serve over 100 hotels, restaurants, and schools across the Tampa Bay and Gulf Coast region, delivering the freshest fruits and vegetables available. Our team is on the road before sunrise every morning, because we know your kitchen doesn't wait.
